I had a lovely gulf view room in Kimball. The hotel has a number of buildings which include cottages and sits directly on the beach. The view was wonderful, great amenities, the bed was perfect and I slept like a baby, plus I liked the pillows so much that I wrote down the info on the label for a future purchase. The staff was wonderful. The maintenance people were impressive - my shower did not work properly and I mentioned it to the cleaning lady. In under two hours, parts were replaced and they even put a new motor in the exhaust fan. I have stayed in 5 star resorts and have never seen this kind of response time.

Island Inn in Sanibel is a really beautiful and gorgeous 3-star hotel, just as described. the venue is in a secluded setting with easy access to the island's bike paths. the complimentary breakfast was nice and hot, especially the toast, cookies, and eggs. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Sanibel.

Location of the hotel. Its unique style, almost a time warp on 10 acres with a wide beach frontage, charming rooms and a great restaurant .
The bath and handbasin were blocked by sand left by previous guests. Footboards of the beds were exactly the right height and the space around the beds tight enough to seriously bruise us as every time we walked by for the first day.

We had a wonderful stay at Island Inn, albeit short as we were touring Florida. Our room was lovely, spacious, clean and with great views. It had it's own kitchen/dining area, which would be useful for families not wanting to eat out every night. The new Traditions Restaurant, on site, was excellent. We had a delicious meal there, served by a really nice guy called Jason, who does magic tricks with credit cards. He makes them disappear - shame he can't do the same for the cost of our over all holiday. Many thanks Island Inn, we've had a lovely time - thoroughly enjoyed looking through the old photo albums of the place too.

The staff at this place are incredibly nice and pleasant, the rooms are spotless, the continental breakfast offers a variety of dishes, and the beach view is fabulous. Rewritten: We highly recommend this venue – the staff is super friendly, the rooms are very clean, breakfast has lots of options, and the beach view is amazing.

The staff was very accomodating. It was quiet. Good breakfast everyday. Very clean, updated baths, etc. Very friendly. A nice experience. We extended our stay one day and may have stayed longer if they had something available.

I mentioned that my husband was having a birthday during our stay and we were delighted to find a chilled bottle of champagne and 2 flutes in our room! We also loved the room.
Unfortunately the bed was way too hard for me.

Updated room, that also was new-fashioned with a view of the gulf. Marvellous location in a hotel's restaurant made it easy to get to key attractions.

The hotel was next to beach, we had a big and clean room with a kitchen corner and several restaurants could be reached by car within a few minutes.
The breakfast could have been better. They had coffee, orange juice, joghurt, cornflakes and muffins, but we were missing some toast or bagels.

I loved the slightly rustic feel. The location is awesome, the staff is friendly, and the room is super spacious.
The pool was definitely not kid friendly. The breakfast was disappointing.
